2.2 Use of YouTube
The link to YouTube refers to services of YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave. San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. For information on the type, purpose, and scope of data collection and further processing of the data by YouTube, as well as your rights and settings options for protecting user privacy, please refer to YouTube’s privacy policy at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
We use the “Feeds for YouTube” plug-in on our website. This plug-in is developed by Smash Balloon LLC in the USA (https://smashballoon.com/) and offered as a WordPress plug-in. The plug-in allows us to display the news feed of our YouTube channel directly on our website. The plug-in retrieves the information from YouTube and integrates it into our website. According to current knowledge, no special cookies that collect, process, or use personal data are set by this plug-in in your browser. However, we cannot completely rule out that personal data (e.g., IP addresses, browser data, etc.) may be transmitted to the provider of the plug-in or YouTube. If you click on a link in the news feed, you will be redirected to our YouTube channel. In this case, YouTube stores from which website you accessed our YouTube channel. For more information on what data is collected, processed, or used when you access YouTube pages, please refer to YouTube’s privacy policy. The full functionality of the plug-in can be viewed at https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/feeds-for-youtube/ and https://smashballoon.com/instagram-feed. More information on Smash Balloon’s privacy policy can be found here: https://smashballoon.com/gdpr-and-our-plugins/. If you do not want YouTube to associate your visit to our pages with your YouTube user account, please log out of your YouTube user account.
2.3 Use of Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entry on our websites (e.g., in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g., IP address, time spent on the website, or user mouse movements). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place. The data processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and SPAM. For more information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy, please refer to the following links: Privacy at Google and Privacy at Android.
2.4 Use of Facebook
We use the Facebook service “Facebook Pixel” in our online service to optimize our advertising offering, provided you have given your consent to Facebook. For more information about these Facebook services and the privacy notices of Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”), please visit the link https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation. If you use a Facebook user account, this can be recognized by the Facebook pixel on our online service via the set Facebook cookie, through which the collected usage data is transmitted to Facebook for analysis and marketing purposes. You can check and/or deactivate this data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook directly at Facebook. The Facebook Pixel is a JavaScript code that transmits the following data to Facebook:
- HTTP header information (e.g., IP address, browser information, page location, document, URL of the online service, and user agent of the web browser, referrer URL as well as date and time of use),
- Pixel-specific data; this includes the pixel ID and Facebook cookie data, including your Facebook ID (this data is used to link events to a specific Facebook advertising account and associate them with a Facebook user),
- Additional information about your visit to our online service, as well as standard and custom data events,
- Completed orders (purchases),
- Completion of registrations and trial subscriptions,
- Searched products, viewed product information.
The aforementioned data processing only affects users who have an account with Facebook or have accessed a partner site of Facebook (resulting in a cookie being set). The display of advertising on Facebook (partner) sites using the “Customer Audience” service does not affect users who are not members of Facebook. If it is possible to assign the Facebook ID contained in the Facebook cookie to a Facebook user, Facebook assigns this user to a target group (“Custom Audience”) according to the rules we have defined, provided the rules are relevant. The information obtained in this way is used by us for the presentation of advertising on Facebook (partner) sites. If you wish to object to the use of the Facebook Pixel, you can set an opt-out cookie on Facebook or disable JavaScript in your browser. For more information and setting options to protect your privacy for advertising purposes, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policies, which can be found, among other things, at https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/.
2.5 Use of Jotform
On our website, we use the services of Jotform Inc. (111 Pine St. Suite 1815 San Francisco CA 94111, USA) for contact inquiries and booking seminars and workshops. The data transmitted through these forms is SSL encrypted and stored on servers of Jotform in Europe (Germany).
We then process the data you provide to us via the forms. This may include, for example, your first and last name, your phone number, or your address. We have entered into a data processing agreement (DPA) with Jotform, obligating Jotform to protect our customers’ data and not to disclose it to third parties. For more information on Jotform’s privacy and GDPR compliance, please visit www.jotform.com/privacy or eu.jotform.com/gdpr-compliance. A statement from Jotform on storing data on servers in the EU can be found here: www.jotform.com/blog/eu-safe-harbor/
2.6 Use of Google Ads
The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Ads allows us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters specific search terms on Google (keyword targeting). Additionally, targeted ads can be displayed based on the user data available at Google (e.g., location data and interests) (audience targeting). We as website operators can quantitatively evaluate this data, for example, by analyzing which search terms led to the display of our ads and how many ads resulted in corresponding clicks.
The use of this service is based on your consent according to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG. The consent is revocable at any time.
The data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.
2.7 Use of Hotjar
We use Hotjar to better understand the needs of our users and to optimize the offer and experience on this website. Using Hotjar’s technology, we get a better understanding of our users’ experiences (e.g., how much time users spend on which pages, which links they click, what they like and dislike, etc.) and this helps us tailor our offer to our users’ feedback. Hotjar works with cookies and other technologies to collect data about our users’ behavior and their devices, in particular, the IP address of the device (collected and stored only in anonymized form during your website usage), screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language for displaying our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually prohibited from selling the data collected on our behalf.

2.9 Where Is Your Data Stored?
The processing of your personal data by the operator of this website is carried out in data centers worldwide.
2.10 How Long Are My Data Stored?

3. What Are Your Rights?
You have the right to:
